Poetry Corner* Dr. Archan Mehta

LESS IS MORE?

These days, I am trying to get
Rid of things I no longer need:
Those impulse purchases have
Returned to haunt me like a
Stalker who lurks in a dark
And dingy alley, watching
Your every move with relish.

Folks, the clutter really bothers
Me, and my home has turned into
A warehouse and I don't like the
Look and feel of it anymore.
A house should feel like a home
And not a dollar store: Hence, clothes,
Food, beverages, appliances, and more
Will, eventually, exit through my 🚪 door.
I will donate this stuff to the poor
And needy: why be egotistical, selfish and greedy?
